BaT Auction: LS3-Powered 1937 Chevrolet Business Coupe 6-Speed
This 1937 Chevrolet Business Coupe was built by Killer Hot Rods & Customs of Arlington, Texas, and is powered by a 416ci LS3 V8 paired with a Tremec T-56 Magnum six-speed manual transmission. The car is finished in olive green over saddle vinyl and rides on a Street Rod Garage chassis featuring independent front suspension, power rack-and-pinion steering, Wilwood disc brakes, Strange Engineering coilover shocks, and a Ford 9″ rear end. Additional equipment includes Holley fuel injection, Hooker exhaust headers, a 3″ ceramic-coated Flowmaster exhaust system, Circle Racing aluminum wheels, Classic Instruments gauges, an Old Air Hurricane air conditioning system, and a Retrosound Bluetooth audio system. Service in preparation for the sale included changing the oil, adjusting the front ride height and trunk latch, repairing the cooling fans, headlight wiring, brake lights, exhaust system, and air conditioning system, and replacing the front brake master cylinder, clutch master cylinder, spark plugs, throttle cable, and lug nuts. This Chevrolet coupe was acquired by the selling dealer in May 2022 and is now offered in Massachusetts with service records, copies of Modern Rodding Magazine that feature the car, and a clean New Jersey title.
BaT Auction: 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS
This 1972 Ferrari Dino 246 GTS was completed on July 26, 1972, and delivered to Chinetti-Garthwaite Imports in Pennsylvania before being sold new by Donald W.Y. Fong in Atlanta, Georgia, on December 27, 1972. Chassis 04264 remained with its first owner until 1985 when it was purchased by a resident of Buffalo, New York, whose six-year ownership included a repaint in red. Following an acquisition by its third owner, the car underwent a restoration in 1994 that included a repaint in the original shade of Blu Dino Metallizzato, an interior retrim in beige leather, a freshening of the 2.4-liter V6, and an overhaul of the five-speed manual transaxle. It remained with its third owner in Colorado until 2004 and then spent the ensuing 17 years with its subsequent owner in Hawaii. Features include a removable roof panel, Cromodora 14” wheels, air conditioning, power windows, and a Becker Grand Prix stereo. This Series III Dino was acquired by the selling dealer in late 2021 and is now offered with a Marcel Massini report, a copy of its original sales invoice, photos and invoices from the 1990s restoration, owner’s literature, a tool kit, and a clean Texas title.

This 2004 Ferrari 360 Modena is finished in Rosso Corsa over Nero leather and is powered by a 3.6-liter V8 mated to a six-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential.
