This 1971 Ford Bronco underwent a mechanical and cosmetic refurbishment prior to the seller’s acquisition on BaT in September 2021. The truck is finished in red with a white hardtop and is powered by a 302ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes a suspension lift, power steering and brakes, a Holley carburetor, an aluminum radiator, a dual exhaust system with Cherry Bomb mufflers, a roll bar, an AM radio, and a heater. This Bronco is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a Deluxe Marti Report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The truck was repainted in red during previous ownership, and features include a white removable hardtop, chrome bumpers, a chrome outside mirror, and dual fuel fillers. The paint is chipped on the front fascia and on the tailgate.
Steel 15″ wheels wear factory covers and are wrapped in 31×10.5 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires. A 295/75 whitewall spare is mounted on the swing-away rear carrier. The truck is equipped with manually locking front hubs, and modifications include a suspension lift along with aftermarket power steering and brakes.
The interior features bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in white vinyl along with matching door panels, a black dashboard pad, and carpets. Equipment includes carpeted floor mats, lap belts, a roll bar, a heater, and a locking glovebox. A patch is present on the carpet covering the transmission tunnel and the factory AM radio does not work.
The two-spoke steering wheel features a Ford-logo horn button and sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer with inset gauges for amperage, fuel level, coolant temperature, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 4k miles, approximately 750 of which were added during current ownership. Total mileage is unknown.
The 302ci V8 has been fitted with a Holley four-barrel carburetor, MSD ignition cables, an aluminum radiator, and a dual exhaust system with Cherry Bomb Turbo mufflers.
A three-speed C4 automatic transmission has been installed in place of the factory manual gearbox, and power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a twin-stick Dana 20 transfer case.
The Deluxe Marti report indicates that the truck was initially ordered by Casa Ford of El Paso, Texas, and lists factory options, dates, and production statistics.
