This 2005 Ferrari 612 Scaglietti is one of approximately 199 examples to have been equipped with a six-speed manual transaxle, 60 of which were reportedly produced for the US market. It is finished in Rosso Corsa over beige leather upholstery and powered by a 5.7-liter V12 mated to a six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 20″ Challenge-style wheels, a Tubi-style exhaust system, heated Daytona-style front seats, automatic climate control, power windows, and a factory CD stereo. The car was first delivered to Ferrari of Central New Jersey, and it was acquired by the current owner in 2006. Service in September 2020 included performing fluid changes, replacing the timing belts, water pump, tensioner bearings, drive belts, battery, air filters, and lower ball joints as well as repairing an exhaust manifold. This 612 has 23k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with a copy of the window sticker, a service invoice, removed parts, a factory luggage set, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Missouri title.
The 612 features Pininfarina-designed bodywork over an aluminum space-frame chassis, and this example is finished in Rosso Corsa. Equipment includes xenon headlights, heated mirrors, and quad exhaust outlets. The cowl trim was repainted and the windshield was resealed in September 2020. Protective film has been applied to the hood, front fenders, front bumper cover, and mirror caps. Delamination is visible in the lower-left corner of the windshield. Paint meter readings from multiple panels are shown in the gallery below.
Ferrari Challenge-style 20″ wheels are mounted with 245/35 front and 305/35 rear Pirelli P-Zero tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes with cross-drilled rotors and yellow-finished calipers. The brake fluid was flushed and the lower ball joints were replaced in September 2020. The removed wheels and tires are included in the sale, photos of which are provided in the gallery.
The 2+2 cabin features beige leather upholstery with black stitching on the Daytona-style seats, center console, lower dashboard, and door panel inserts. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable front seats, dual-zone automatic climate control, a gated shifter, power windows, and a factory stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer. Sticky buttons were repaired and the pollen filter was replaced in September 2020.
A multifunction steering wheel sits ahead of a 220-mph speedometer, a yellow-dial 10k-rpm tachometer, and a digital display screen. The odometer indicates 23k miles, approximately 22k of which were added during current ownership. Service in 2020 included repairing the seatbelt indicator in the instrument cluster.
The 5.7-liter DOHC V12 was factory rated at 533 horsepower and 434 lb-ft of torque. A Tubi-style exhaust system has been fitted, and the removed exhaust components are included in the sale. Service in September 2020 consisted of repairing the left exhaust manifold in addition to replacing the water pump, timing belts, tensioner bearings, battery, air filters, and drive belts.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. The transmission fluid was replaced in September 2020.
A three-piece factory luggage set is included in the sale, along with spare wheels and exhaust components.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New Jersey, Illinois, and Missouri through the most recent entry in September 2020.
