This 1990 Porsche 1990 Porsche 911 Carrera 2 coupe is finished in Guards Red over Cashmere Beige leather and powered by a 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 18″ Speedline wheels, a JRZ RS One suspension, a sunroof, power height-adjustable seats, air conditioning, a Steve Wong ECU chip, a Scart exhaust system, and a Porsche Classic stereo system. The car was first registered in Pennsylvania and spent time in several states before being acquired by the current owner in 2020. Service in October 2021 consisted of overhauling the suspension, along with replacing the exhaust system, brake fluid, sunroof seals, rocker panel clips, fuel tank vent hoses, spark plugs, fuel filter, valve cover gaskets, and rear main seal. This 964 coupe is now offered at no reserve on dealer consignment with service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Michigan title.
The car is finished in Guards Red and features a speed-activated rear spoiler, an electric sunroof, integrated fog lights, headlight washers, a rear window wiper, and power-adjustable side mirrors. A ceramic coating was applied paintwork in May 2021, and the rear outer rocker panel was refinished in October 2021. The rocker panel clips and sunroof seals were also replaced at that time.
18″ Speedline wheels have been added and are wrapped in Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. The suspension is modified with JRZ RS One coilovers, camber plates, spring plates, steering stops, and bump steers. The front control arms are fitted with polyurethane bushings, and Tarett Engineering rear drop links have also been added. The four-wheel disc brakes feature black Porsche-branded calipers all around, and a brake fluid flush was carried out in October 2021.
The front bucket seats feature two-way power height adjustments and are upholstered in Cashmere Beige leather. Additional equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and a Porsche Classic stereo system.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 29k miles.
The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six is equipped with a Steve Wong ECU chip, as well as a Scart 964 Cup exhaust system and 100-cell catalytic converters. In October 2021, the intake manifold gaskets were replaced along with the fuel tank vent hoses, spark plugs, fuel filter and lines, valve cover gaskets, and rear main seal.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Service in May 2020 included replacing the clutch, flywheel, and release fork and changing the clutch hydraulic fluid.
Decoding the underhood options sticker reveals the following information:
