This 1998 Porsche 911 Carrera 4S coupe is powered by an air-cooled 3.6-liter flat-six that drives all four wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential, and it is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic over Cashmere Beige partial leather. Equipment includes 18″ aftermarket wheels, power windows, central locking, a Porsche CDR-210 stereo, cruise control, and air conditioning. The seller acquired the car in July 2001 and has since added approximately 8k of the 19k miles shown. The hood and engine-lid struts were changed in January 2022. This final-year 993 C4S coupe is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, a stamped maintenance log, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The 993 C4S features wider rear bodywork in comparison with the standard Carrera as well as a front air dam derived from the contemporary Turbo. The car is finished in Ocean Blue Metallic (L3AZ) and features headlight washers, fog lights, heated power-adjustable mirrors, black rear bumperettes, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets. Paint chips are noted on the front hood, and photographs of paint-meter readings are shown in the gallery below.
The 18″ aftermarket wheels are wrapped in Continental ExtremeContact Sport tires showing 2021 date codes. The car features an Automatic Brake Differential (ABD), and the 993 was the first 911 to feature multi-link rear suspension. Braking is handled by red Porsche-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The power-adjustable front seats are upholstered in Cashmere Beige leather, and the cabin features matching door panels, a black dashboard, and Light Rootwood trim on the shifter and handbrake lever. Amenities include a Porsche CDR-210 stereo, central locking, power windows, cruise control, and air conditioning.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,800-rpm redline, a 180-mph speedometer, a Quarz analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer indicates 19k miles, approximately 8k of which were added under current ownership.
The air-cooled 3.6L flat-six features a VarioRam intake system and the Motor Sound Package, and it was factory rated at 282 horsepower and 250 lb-ft of torque. Work in January 2022 included an oil change and replacing the hood and engine-lid struts.
Power is sent to all four wheels via a six-speed manual transaxle with a limited-slip differential. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
