This 1987 Porsche 911 Carrera coupe is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Cassis Red Metallic over Burgundy leather. Equipment includes 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, a power-operated sunroof, power-adjustable front seats, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, cruise control, an alarm system, and power windows and locks. The car is said to have resided with a single owner prior to its acquisition in June 2007 by the seller, who has since added approximately 11k of the 34k miles shown. This Carrera coupe is now offered with keys, a stamped maintenance booklet, a compressor, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Cassis Red Metallic (L80D) and is equipped with a power-operated sunroof, integrated fog lights, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors. Photographs of paint-meter readings are shown in the gallery below along with blemishes in the lower rocker panels.
Black 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels with polished lips are mounted with Michelin Pilot Exalto tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs.
The cabin features power-adjustable front seats upholstered in Burgundy leather along with a matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Amenities include an alarm system, cruise control, a Blaupunkt cassette stereo, and power windows and locks. Air conditioning is equipped and has been converted to use R134a refrigerant, but the system does not work.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 34k miles, approximately 11k of which were added under current ownership.
The air-cooled 3.2L M930/25 flat-six features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 217 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. The DME relay was replaced in May 2021, and the camshaft housing oil line and oil cooler hose were replaced in November 2019. The battery was changed in September 2019.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
