This 1964 Porsche 356C cabriolet is finished in white over black leather and powered by a 1.6-liter flat-four paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a black soft top, 15″ wheels, headlight guards, a luggage rack, fire extinguisher, and a Blaupunkt cassette AM/FM radio. The car was acquired by the current owner in 1997, and work carried out in anticipation of the sale consisted of replacing the jack points, repairing the floor, changing the oil, and replacing a fuel line. This 356C cabriolet is now offered on dealer consignment with recent service records and a clean Oregon title.
The body is refinished in white, and equipment includes sealed-beam headlamps with guards, dual side mirrors, a retractable antenna, a luggage rack, and chrome bumper guards. The selling dealer notes that service in May 2022 included replacing the jack points and repairing the floor. Areas of past body work and repainting are present, and there are stone chips on the front fascia.
Chrome 15″ wheels wear hubcaps with silver Porsche crests and are mounted with Mazama Reputation Luxury Touring tires that show 2019 date codes. Aftermarket shocks and sway bars are fitted, and the car is equipped with disc brakes at all four corners.
The cabin features black leather upholstery, gray square-weave carpets, and a black dash pad. Equipment includes a fire extinguisher, a locking glove box, ventilation, and a Blaupunkt Frankfurt AM/FM cassette radio. The front seats are worn.
The body-color dashboard houses green-letter VDO instrumentation including a 200-km/h speedometer, a tachometer with a 4,500-rpm redline, and a combination gauge for oil temperature and fuel level. Aftermarket gauges are mounted below the dash. The five-digit odometer shows 35k kilometers (~22k miles), and total mileage is unknown.
The air-cooled 1.6L flat-four was factory rated at 75 horsepower and wears replacement dual carburetors. Service in anticipation of the sale included replacing the fuel line and performing an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. A replacement exhaust system is fitted, and additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
