This 1991 GMC Syclone was initially delivered to Womble Auto and Truck Plaza of Lubbock, Texas, before being transferred in 1992 to Frontier Auto of Lovington, New Mexico. The truck is said to have remained with its original owner from 1992 through 2017, when it was acquired by the seller. Power is provided by a turbocharged 4.3-liter V6 linked with a four-speed automatic transmission, all-wheel drive, and a limited-slip rear differential. Additional equipment includes a tonneau bed cover, air conditioning, a Delco AM/FM cassette stereo, front disc brakes, and turbine-style 16″ wheels. This Syclone now shows 847 miles and is offered with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Mexico title in the name of the seller and their spouse.
All factory Syclones were finished in black with a color-coordinated factory aerodynamic package. This example is one of a reported 2,995 units produced for the model year and features red badging, integrated front fog lights, a tonneau cover, and dual exhaust outlets on the passenger side.
Turbine-style 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with 245/50 Firestone Firehawk SVX tires. The truck is equipped with Bilstein dampers, and stopping power is provided by front discs with ABS and rear drums.
The cabin features manually adjustable sport seats trimmed in black velour with Syclone embroidery in the headrests. Contrasting red piping accents the seats and upper door panels, while other features include air conditioning, cruise control, a Delco AM/FM cassette stereo with a five-band equalizer, and power windows and door locks.
A two-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset readout for boost pressure, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 847 miles, less than 100 of which were added by the seller.
The turbocharged 4.3-liter V6 is equipped with a Mitsubishi turbocharger paired with a Garrett water-to-air intercooler. Factory-rated output was 280 horsepower and 350 lb-ft of torque.
Power is delivered to all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission, a BorgWarner transfer case, and a limited-slip rear differential.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Womble Auto and Truck Plaza in Lubbock, Texas, along with factory equipment, colors, and a total manufacturer’s suggested retail price of $25,970.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New Mexico from its first entry in June 2017.
