This 1991 Mercedes-Benz 300E 2.6 was first registered in New Jersey before being acquired by the seller on BaT in November 2019 from its long-term previous owner. The car has since been relocated to Texas and now shows 72k miles. It is finished in two-tone black and gray over Palomino MB-Tex and is powered by a 2.6-liter inline-six paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 17″ alloy wheels, a power sunroof, automatic climate control, power-adjustable front seats, Zebrano wood trim, and a Becker AM/FM cassette stereo. This W124 is being offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in Black (040) with dark gray lower cladding and black bumper inserts. Features include an automatic antenna, headlight wipers, a power sunroof, and a panoramic windshield wiper.
Five-spoke 17″ alloy wheels sourced from a later-model E-Class are wrapped in Continental ContiSportContact tires that show date codes from 2000. The car features multi-link independent rear suspension and anti-lock four-wheel disc brakes.
The interior features power-adjustable front seats and a rear bench upholstered in Palomino MB-Tex (174) with a matching lower dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include Zebrano wood trim, automatic climate control, a Becker AM/FM cassette stereo, cruise control, power windows, and central locking.
The leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset clock, and a combination gauge for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit odometer shows 72k miles, of which approximately 200 have been added by the seller.
The 2.6-liter M103 inline-six features Bosch CIS-E fuel injection and was rated at 158 horsepower when new.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos are viewable in the image gallery below.

The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in New Jersey and Texas.
