Those are the rules for the Unlimited Division at the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb. This true “formula libre” is a big reason that the event continues to attract drivers from every corner of motor racing, piloting the wildest one-off machines.

Duncan Pittaway’s resurrected Fiat S76 “Beast of Turin” has been scorching the hay bales at Goodwood since its refurbished engine first turned over in 2015, and we can never get enough of it.

This Father’s Day video inspiration features the father-son duo of Mario and Michael Andretti. In 1986, Michael inadvertently presented Mario with the best Father’s Day gift ever – a win at the Portland 200 CART race. Michael had been leading the race decisively, but his car’s fuel system began to develop issues in the final laps.

Last year’s Greenwich Concours d’Elegance was held in October, so this year’s event snuck up on us as it took place in early June. Fortunately, roving BaT contributor kobus got the memo and showed up with his camera to document the event for all of us.

We were extremely saddened to hear of the passing of Dr. Fred Simeone, the founder of the unrivaled Simeone Foundation Automotive Museum in Philadelphia and a true giant in the history and preservation of significant racing cars.
