This 1967 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is finished in blue over black upholstery and was recently acquired by the current owner, a New Jersey retail dealership. The body was repainted during previous ownership, and power is provided by a 327ci L79 V8 linked to a four-speed manual transmission. Additional equipment includes a removable hardtop, four-wheel disc brakes, 15″ Rally wheels, a side-exit exhaust system, and a Delco AM/FM radio. This C2 convertible is offered on dealer consignment in New Jersey with an owner’s manual and a clean New Jersey title.
Finished from the factory in Goodwood Green (983), the body was refinished in its current shade of blue prior to the current owner’s acquisition. Equipment includes a left-side mirror, concealed headlights, fender vents, chrome bumperettes, quad tail lights, reverse lights, and dual side-exit exhaust pipes. This example is not equipped with a soft top according to the seller, and the color-matched hardtop is shown mounted above.
Silver-painted 15″ Rally wheels are accented by chrome trim rings and hubcaps and are mounted with 215/70 Mastercraft white-letter tires. Additional equipment includes four-wheel disc brakes and independent rear suspension.
The seats are upholstered in standard black vinyl and accompanied by a color-coordinated dashboard, door panels, and carpets. Equipment includes an analog clock, lap belts, and a vertically mounted Delco AM/FM radio, the latter of which does not emit sound from the speakers according to the seller.
Instrumentation fronted by the woodgrain steering wheel consists of a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 52k miles, around 500 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 327ci L79 V8 was rated at 350 horsepower from the factory and features a four-barrel carburetor, finned aluminum valve covers, and a chrome ignition cover. Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. An oil change was completed in preparation for the sale.
Engine stamping 119231 matches the last six digits of the chassis number as shown in the gallery. Additionally, the HT suffix corresponds with a 327ci L79 engine equipped with a four-barrel carburetor, a high-lift camshaft, and a four-speed manual transmission.
Additional photos showing the suspension, chassis, and driveline, as well as corrosion on portions of the mechanicals are presented in the gallery below.
