This 2001 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet was first delivered to Park Place Motorcars in Dallas, Texas, and it was acquired in May 2006 by the current owner, who relocated it to Illinois. The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic over Graphite Gray full leather and is powered by a 3.4-liter flat-six paired with a six-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes a gray soft top, 18″ Turbo-look wheels, a deployable rear spoiler, xenon headlights with washers, integrated fog lights, a Porsche CDR-220 stereo, power-adjustable fronts seats with lumbar support, a Digital Sound Processing module, automatic climate control, and cruise control. The coolant reservoir was replaced in April 2022, and the battery was replaced in June 2020. This 996.1 cabriolet has 38k miles and is now offered on dealer consignment with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
The car is finished in Arctic Silver Metallic (L92U) with a gray convertible soft top. Additional features include xenon headlights, headlamp washers, fog lights, a speed-activated rear spoiler, and dual exhaust outlets with stainless-steel finishers.
The 18″ Turbo-look wheels are mounted with Continental ExtremeContact DWS 06 tires. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners.
The power-adjustable seats are upholstered in Graphite Gray supple leather that extends to the dashboard and door panels, and the cabin features a Carbon Package. Features include driver-seat memory settings, front-seat power lumbar support, automatic climate control, a Becker-Porsche CDR-220 stereo, a Digital Sound Processing (DSP) module, a trunk-mounted CD changer, and cruise control.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 180-mph speedometer, a central tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 38k miles.
The 3.4-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. The coolant reservoir was replaced in April 2022, and the battery was replaced in June 2020.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transaxle. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
