This 2005 Jaguar Super V8 is finished in black over tan leather upholstery, and power is provided by a supercharged 4.2-liter V8 paired with a six-speed automatic transmission. Features include a power-operated sunroof, heated and power-adjustable front and rear seats, multi-zone automatic climate control, an Alpine six-disc CD stereo, navigation, rear-seat entertainment, and rear tray tables. The car spent time in Tennessee, Texas, and Arkansas before it was acquired in January 2020 by the seller. The air struts and battery were replaced in 2019, while the front brake pads were replaced in 2021. This XJ Super V8 has 75k miles and is offered with a Carfax report and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in black with bright trim and mirror caps. Features include mesh grilles, a Leaper hood ornament, front fog lights, a power sunroof, parking sensors, and dual exhaust outlets. The Carfax report lists damage occurring to the rear of the car in April 2006, and a second report of damage to the rear is listed in May 2020. The seller states that the left-rear quarter panel was scraped and the turn signal was damaged, both of which have been repaired. One of the headlight washers is missing and dents are noted on the right-side doors along with a scratch below the chrome trim on the front bumper.
Five-spoke 19″ wheels are wrapped in 255/40 Bridgestone Potenza RE970AS Pole Position tires. The car is equipped with eCATS adaptive suspension and disc brakes at each corner. The front brake pads were replaced in 2021, and the rear upper control arms were replaced in October 2019 along with the front and rear air struts.
Beige leather with brown piping covers the seating surfaces while contrasting darker leather and burl wood veneers accent the dashboard and door panels. Amenities include heated and power-adjustable front and rear seats along with multi-zone automatic climate control, an Alpine six-disc CD stereo, navigation, rear-seat entertainment, rear fold-down tray tables, rear window sunscreens, and a J-gate shifter.
A wood-rimmed and leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline and a 170-mph speedometer, along with fuel level and coolant temperature gauges. The digital odometer indicates 75k miles, approximately 10k of which were added by the seller.
The supercharged 4.2-liter V8 was factory rated at 390 horsepower and 399 lb-ft of torque. The coolant overflow tank was replaced during their ownership, the battery was replaced in 2019, and a K&N air filter was installed in 2020.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a six-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos are available in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage reported in April 2006 and May 2020. Registration history is listed in Tennessee, Arkansas, and Texas.
