This 1993 Mitsubishi 3000GT VR-4 is finished in black over beige leather upholstery and powered by a twin-turbocharged 3.0-liter V6 mated to a five-speed manual transaxle and an all-wheel-drive system. Equipment includes automatic climate control, air conditioning, cruise control, a sunroof, an electronically adjustable suspension, an active exhaust system, pop-up headlights, chrome-finished 17″ wheels, cruise control, a CD/cassette stereo, a six-disc CD changer, and power windows and door locks. The car was first registered in Ohio and spent time in Missouri before it was acquired by the seller in 2018. This 3000GT shows 59k miles and is now offered with partial service records, removed parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Albany Black Mica and features a rear spoiler, pop-up headlights, integrated fog lights, a power-retractable antenna, heated and power-adjustable mirrors, quad exhaust outlets, and a removable sunroof that stows under the rear window. The seller notes the front Active Aero spoiler works intermittently, there are paint chips on the hood, and the panels aft of the side windows are delaminating.
Chrome-finished 17″ alloy wheels wear BFGoodrich tires that the seller states require replacement. Factory equipment included four-wheel steering, an electronically adjustable suspension, and four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes with Mitsubishi-branded calipers.
Beige leather upholstery covers the seats, and gray carpeting lines the floor. Equipment includes cruise control, automatic climate control, air conditioning, power windows and door locks, and a factory AM/FM cassette stereo linked to a remote six-disc CD changer. Service completed in May 2022 included replacing the left window regulator and a recharge of the air conditioning system. Wear on the outer bolster of the driver’s seat is shown in the gallery. The seller states the shift boot was replaced in February 2021.
The multifunction steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline along with a 180-mph speedometer and a fuel level gauge, while auxiliary instrumentation is mounted in the center stack. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 59k miles, approximately 2k of which were added by the seller.
The twin-turbocharged and intercooled 3.0-liter 6G72 V6 was factory rated at 300 horsepower and 307 lb-ft of torque. Work completed in February 2021 consisted of an oil change and replacing the timing belt, water pump, spark plugs and wires, valve cover gaskets, injector o-rings, camshaft and crankshaft seals, and downpipe. The valve cover and intake manifold have been powder-coated red, and a spare set is included in the sale.
Power is sent to all four wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below. The car is equipped with an active exhaust system.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Ohio, Missouri, and Texas.
