This Factory Five Racing Mk2 Roadster is a Shelby Cobra replica that was produced in 2002 and was refinished in metallic blue with white stripes over black vinyl upholstery in 2021. The car is powered by a Ford 302ci V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and is equipped with four-wheel disc brakes, adjustable coil-overs, side exhaust pipes, 15″ Halibrand-style wheels, nudge-bar bumpers with overriders, AutoMeter gauges, four-point harnesses, a driver-side roll hoop, and a wood-rimmed steering wheel. The selling dealer acquired the car in January 2022 and flushed the coolant in May 2022. This Mk2 Cobra replica is now offered in Oregon with an assembly manual, a tonneau cover, and a clean California title listing the car as a 1965 Ford.
Previously finished in red, the fiberglass body was repainted in metallic blue with white stripes in 2021. Features include nudge-bar bumpers with overriders, a hood scoop, side exhaust pipes, fender vents, a driver-side roll hoop, a windshield frame-mounted side mirror, hood pins and latches, and a Le Mans-style fuel filler cap. A tonneau cover is included in the sale, but the supplied fastening snaps are not attached to the body.
Halibrand-style 15″ wheels wear BFGoodrich Radial T/A white-letter tires sized 235/60 up front and 275/60 at the rear. Braking is provided by four-wheel discs, and the car is equipped with an adjustable coil-over at each corner.
The cockpit features low-back bucket seats upholstered in black vinyl along with a matching dashboard and carpeting. Appointments include Simpson four-point harnesses, chrome door latches, and leather door-limit straps.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel with a Cobra-logo horn button frames AutoMeter instrumentation consisting of a reverse-sweep 180-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for oil temperature, voltage, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 4,600 miles, approximately 50 of which were added by the selling dealer. Total mileage is unknown.
The Ford 302ci HO V8 features fuel-injection, a Mishimoto radiator, an electric cooling fan, and a cone-style air filter. The selling dealer states that the coolant was flushed in May 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Ford T5 five-speed manual transmission and 8.8″ rear end.
