This 1987 Jaguar XJ6 was initially delivered to Metro Motors in Tulsa, Oklahoma, and resided in the state with one owner until it was acquired by the selling dealer in April 2022 and relocated to Arizona. The car is finished in black over matching leather and is powered by a 4.2-liter inline-six mated with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ alloy wheels, a sunroof, automatic climate control, power windows and locks, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and an onboard computer. Service in preparation for the sale is said to have included fluid changes and the replacement of the tires, fuel pump and filter, and suspension components. This XJ6 shows 21k miles and is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer in Arizona with manufacturer’s literature, the window sticker, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Oklahoma title.
The car is finished in Jet Black with silver pinstripes. Equipment includes a power-operated sunroof, power-adjustable mirrors, chrome trim, and dual exhaust outlets. The selling dealer notes that the right-rear door has been refinished and that there is lacquer checking on the roof. Paint meter readings and exterior blemishes are shown in the gallery below.
Factory 15″ alloy wheels are mounted with 215/70 Vredestein Sprint Classic tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted discs. The tires, upper and lower ball joints, and outer tie-rod ends were replaced in preparation for the sale, according to the selling dealer.
The cabin features seating surfaces trimmed in black leather upholstery, while wood trim accents the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Equipment includes a power-adjustable driver’s seat, automatic climate control, power windows and locks, cruise control, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, and an onboard computer. There is a crack in the wood trim on the center console.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 140-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for oil pressure, voltage, fuel level, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 21k miles, approximately 300 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The fuel-injected 4.2L inline-six was factory rated at 176 horsepower and 219 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer notes that service in preparation for the sale included replacing the fuel pump and fuel filter as well as performing an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a three-speed automatic transmission. The transmission fluid is said to have been replaced in preparation for the sale. Additional photos of the underside are available in the gallery.
Manufacturer’s literature, service records, and a Jaguar welcome cassette tape are included in the sale along with the window sticker that shows initial delivery to Metro Cars in Tulsa, Oklahoma, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total amount of $37,915.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Oklahoma.
