This 1967 Mercury M-100 pickup is a rear-wheel-drive example that was sold new at Gladstone Garage Ford Mercury in Manitoba, Canada, and was acquired by the seller in 2018 from the reported original owner. The truck is finished in red over red vinyl and powered by a 240ci inline-six paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Features include towing mirrors, a cabin heater, a rear step bumper, and manual windows. This Mercury M-100 is offered at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a copy of the original bill of sale, a jack, and Manitoba registration in the seller’s name.
The long-bed truck is finished in Rangoon Red (J) and features a white front bumper and grille, towing mirrors, a rear step bumper, and chrome badging. The paint is faded and chipped, and there is corrosion on the fenders, doors, bumpers, and bed.
White 15″ steel wheels wear dog dish hubcaps and are mounted with 225/75 Motormaster XTS whitewall tires. A spare wheel and tire are secured in the bed. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel drum brakes. The wheels and hubcaps are rusted.
The cabin features a bench seat trimmed in red vinyl joined by a matching dash pad and door panels and a black rubber floor mat. Equipment includes a cabin heater, lap belts, a glovebox, manual windows, vent windows, and a floor-mounted gear shift. Blemishes include rips in the seat upholstery and cracks in the dashboard, and additional imperfections are shown up close in the gallery.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames a horizontal 100-mph speedometer flanked by coolant temperature and fuel level gauges. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 77k miles, approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The 240ci inline-six features a single carburetor with a manual choke. An oil change was performed in 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission. Additional underbody photos are available in the gallery.
The data plate decodes with the following:
- 131 – 131″ wheelbase
- J – Rangoon Red paint
- F100 – Model series
- A -Four-speed manual transmission
- 09 – 3.70 Rear axle ratio
- 05000 – Max gross vehicle weight
- 129 4000 – rated 129 horsepower at 4k rpm
