This 2005 BMW M3 convertible is finished in Black II over black Nappa leather and is powered by a 3.2-liter inline-six paired with a six-speed SMG sequential transmission and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a black soft top, 19″ M double-spoke wheels, power-adjustable front sport seats, xenon headlights, Park Distance Control, a Harman Kardon sound system, and a Pioneer Bluetooth stereo. The seller acquired the car in November 2016 and has since added approximately 10k of the 48k indicated miles. This E46 M3 is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, the removed factory infotainment system, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Black II (668) and features a power-operated black convertible soft top as well as xenon headlights, fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, LED tail lights, rear parking sensors, and quad exhaust outlets. The seller notes stone chips on the nose as well as scrapes on the underside of the front bumper.
The 19″ M double-spoke Style 67 wheels are wrapped in Continental ContiSportContact tires measuring 225/40 up front and 255/35 out back. The car was factory equipped with Dynamic Stability Control (DSC). The seller notes wear on the tires.
The cabin is upholstered in black and features Nappa leather seating surfaces while Brushed Aluminum Shadow trim adorns the dashboard, center console, and door panels. Amenities include power-adjustable front sport seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, driver-seat memory settings, a removable wind deflector, and a Pioneer Bluetooth stereo with a flip-up screen hooked to a Harman Kardon sound system. The shifter surround finish is bubbling, and the seller notes wear on the driver’s seat outer bolster. The seller reports that an airbag recall was performed in March 2020.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a 185-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a variable redline, and gauges for coolant temperature, oil temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 48k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.2-liter S54 inline-six was factory rated at 333 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed SMG sequential transmission and a limited-slip differential.
Manufacturer’s literature, service records, a car cover, and the removed factory infotainment system are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration history in Connecticut, Pennsylvania, and Illinois.
