This 1989 Porsche 911 Carrera cabriolet is powered by a 3.2-liter flat-six paired with a G50 five-speed manual transaxle, and it is finished in black over matching leather. Equipment includes 16″ Cup-style wheels, a black soft top, a rear spoiler, cruise control, power windows, and a Porsche CD-2 stereo. The seller acquired the car in October 2007 and has since added approximately 10k of the 118k miles shown. The convertible-top latching motor is said to have been replaced in August 2021. This Carrera cabriolet is now offered in North Carolina with the owner’s manual, literature, a compressor, a set of Fuchs wheels, a clean Carfax report, and a clean South Dakota title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Black (L700) with a power-retractable black soft top and a convertible top boot. Additional equipment includes a rear spoiler, integrated fog lights, and heated power-adjustable side mirrors. The convertible-top latching motor is said to have been replaced in August 2021. Dings are noted in the driver door.
The 16″ Cup-style wheels are mounted with Kumho Ecsta SPT tires measuring 205/55 up front and 225/50 out back. Braking is handled by four-wheel discs. The removed Fuchs wheels are included in the sale, and the seller indicates that they require refurbishment.
The cabin features front seats upholstered in black leather along with a matching dashboard, carpets, and door panels. Amenities include cruise control, a Porsche CD-2 stereo, and power windows and locks. The air-conditioning system does not work.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,300-rpm redline as well as a 170-mph speedometer, a Quarz clock, and gauges for oil level, oil pressure, oil temperature, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 118k miles, approximately 10k of which were added under current ownership.
The air-cooled 3.2L M930/25 flat-six features Bosch Motronic engine management and was factory rated at 214 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a G50 five-speed manual transaxle.
Decoding the option sticker reveals the following information:
- L700 – Black paint
