This 1972 Chevrolet K10 is a 4×4 fleetside pickup that is finished in blue with a white cab over blue upholstery and powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Features include 15″ steel wheels, power steering, front disc brakes, chrome bumpers, air conditioning, and a Sony AM/FM/cassette stereo. The truck was repainted under prior ownership and was acquired by the seller in September 2019. Work completed under current ownership consisted of replacing the spark plugs, carburetor, and steering drag link. This K10 pickup is now offered with manufacturer’s literature and a clean South Carolina title in the seller’s name.
The body is finished in blue with a white cab and was reportedly repainted under prior ownership. Features include chrome bumpers, Chevrolet tailgate lettering, dual side mirrors, a sliding rear window, and a dual exhaust. An image showing a scratch on the front of the hood is provided in the gallery.
The 15″ steel wheels wear trim rings and are wrapped in 32×11.5″ Michelin LTX M/S tires. The truck is equipped with power steering along with power-assisted front disc brakes and rear drums. The front axle features manually-locking hubs, and the steering drag link was replaced under current ownership.
The standard cab features bench seating upholstered in blue vinyl joined by a matching dashboard and door panels along with dark blue carpets. Interior equipment includes air conditioning, a glovebox, lap belts, vent windows, a floor-mounted transfer case selector, and a Sony AM/FM/cassette radio.
The two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 100-mph speedometer and gauges displaying battery status, coolant temperature, fuel level, and oil pressure. The five-digit odometer shows 95k miles, approximately 600 of which have been added by the seller. Total mileage is unknown.
The 350ci V8 was fitted with a replacement Rochester Quadrajet carburetor and spark plugs under current ownership. Work completed in preparation for the sale reportedly includes installing an Optima battery and changing the oil and filter.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a Turbo-Hydramatic three-speed automatic transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a Positraction rear differential. Work completed under current ownership reportedly includes replacing the rear differential cover, transfer case fluid, and differential fluids. The seller notes that fluid is seeping from the steering box and transfer case.
The Service Parts Identification sticker is affixed to the glovebox door and lists the VIN along with optional equipment.
