This 1972 Honda N600 is finished in green over tan vinyl and is powered by a 598cc four-stroke twin paired with a four-speed manual transaxle. The car is said to have spent much of its life in California and was reportedly acquired by the seller’s father in the late 1980s. The seller acquired it in 2018 and relocated it to Minnesota. Equipment includes chrome bumpers and trim, 10″ wheels, a driver-side mirror, pop-out side windows, and a factory AM/FM radio. Maintenance under current ownership is said to have included the replacement of the tires and the battery, and an oil change. This N600 is now offered with a shop manual and a clean Minnesota title in the seller’s name.
Originally finished in red, the car is said to have been repainted its current shade of green during the seller’s father’s ownership. Features include chrome side trim and bumpers with front corner guards, a driver-side mirror, and pop-out rear quarter windows. The seller notes that the taillight lenses, reflectors, window trim, and window and door gaskets need to be replaced.
Silver-finished 10” steel wheels wear chrome hubcaps and are mounted with Camac 145-series tires. The N600 featured an independent front suspension and a solid rear axle with leaf springs. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a rear bench with replacement tan and black vinyl covers. The dashboard, door panels, and carpeting are trimmed in black. Appointments include a heater, Fiat 500-embroidered floor mats, and a push-button AM radio. The seller notes that the door seals need replacement, and discoloration on the headliner and cracks on the sun visor brackets can be viewed in the gallery.
A refurbished two-spoke steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer and a combination gauge. The five-digit odometer shows 88k miles, approximately 8k of which have been added since the seller’s father’s acquisition.
The air-cooled 598cc four-stroke twin was factory rated at 36 horsepower and 32 lb-ft of torque. Service performed in 2021 is said to have included replacing the spark plugs along with an oil change.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. A bar for towing the car behind a recreational vehicle has been fitted, and corrosion is visible on underside components, which can be viewed in the gallery.
