This 2007 Ford Mustang Shelby GT coupe is powered by a 4.6-liter V8 paired with a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential, and it was modified when new by Shelby Automobiles with their GT package, which included Pro-Cal engine management software, a cold-air intake, an X-pipe exhaust, Ford Racing mufflers, suspension upgrades, revised exterior styling, silver racing stripes, and a Hurst short-throw shifter. Additional equipment includes 18″ aluminum wheels, air conditioning, and a Shaker 1000 audio system. The car is finished in black over charcoal leather and has been registered in Florida since new. It was acquired by the seller in 2020 and now has 7k miles. This Mustang Shelby GT is offered with manufacturer’s literature, an accident-free Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The car is finished in black with silver full-length stripes. Features include Shelby-specific fascias and side scoops, a hood scoop, hood hold-down pins, a billet grille insert, “Shelby” trunk lid lettering, and a silver-finished fuel-filler door.
Black-finished 18″ aluminum wheels with machined edges are wrapped in 255/45 front and 285/40 rear Nitto NT555 tires. The car is equipped with the Ford Racing Handling Package, which includes lowering springs and upgraded dampers and front and rear sway bars.
The cabin features seats trimmed in Dark Charcoal leather with matching door panels and carpets. Satin aluminum trim accents the dashboard, and additional appointments include a six-way power-adjustable driver seat, a Hurst short-throw shifter, a white shift knob, Shelby-branded floor mats, Shelby GT-branded aluminum doorsill plates, air conditioning, and a Shaker 1000 CD stereo.
A commemorative plaque mounted on the dashboard identifies this example as number 163 produced.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline and a 145-mph speedometer. The digital odometer indicates 7k miles, 4,500 of which were added by the seller.
The 4.6-liter V8 features a Ford Racing Power Upgrade Package that includes a 90mm cold-air intake and Pro-Cal engine management software. Output was rated at 319 horsepower and 330 lb-ft of torque in Shelby GT specification. A Ford Racing front strut tower brace is installed in the engine bay, and a Shelby plaque is mounted to the radiator support.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip differential with 3.55:1 gearing. The Shelby GT package included a high-flow exhaust system featuring an X-pipe and Ford Racing mufflers.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with a spare hood scoop.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Florida through its most recent entry in August 2021. An open manufacturer’s recall related to the passenger airbag is also noted. There is currently a lien on the car, and the seller’s lender will need to be paid off before the title can be transferred to the next owner.
