This 1991 BMW 324td is a European-market example that was imported to the US in 2019 and is finished in Calypso Red over a gray cloth interior. Power is provided by a 2.4-liter turbodiesel inline-six linked with a five-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes fog lights, a sunroof, an analog clock, a heater, and a Blaupunkt Frankfurt CD stereo. The car was previously listed on BaT in October 2019 before being acquired by the seller in February 2020. Subsequent work included the installation of a Turner Motorsports front skid plate, an E36 M3-sourced steering rack, a CAtuned adjustable suspension kit, and 16″ Style 5 wheels. This E30 Touring shows 244k kilometers (~152k miles) and is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, the removed 14″ wheels, spare parts, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Georgia title in the name of the seller’s spouse.
The body is finished in Calypso Red and features projector headlights, fog lights, a rear window wiper, body-color mirrors, a rear tow hook, and a factory tow ball. The seller states that paintless dent removal and paint correction were performed in preparation for the sale. Noted flaws are shown in the gallery and include bubbling paint, dings, and corrosion on the right quarter panel, right fender, and right-front door.
Silver-finished 16″ Style 5 wheels are mounted with 205/45 Firestone Firehawk Indy 500 tires. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and a brake fluid flush was performed in June 2021. Additional work performed at that time included installation of an E36 M3-sourced steering rack as well as a CAtuned adjustable suspension kit with adjustable front camber plates.
The cabin features front bucket seats and a split-folding rear bench upholstered in gray cloth accompanied by matching door panels and carpets. Amenities include an analog clock, a heater, and a Blaupunkt Frankfurt CD stereo.
The four-spoke steering wheel fronts a 240-km/h speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 244k kilometers (~152k miles), approximately 3k of which were added under current ownership.
The 2.4-liter turbodiesel inline-six was factory rated at 114 horsepower and 162 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale, according to the seller.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transmission. A Turner Motorsports front skid plate was installed under current ownership.
Manufacturer’s literature and various spare parts are included in the sale along with the removed 14″ wheels that can be viewed in the gallery.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Georgia from its first entry in February 2019.
