This 2007 Mercedes-Benz SL550 is finished in Alabaster White over beige leather and is powered by a 5.5-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 18″ Turbine-style five-hole alloy wheels, xenon headlights, Keyless Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated and ventilated power-adjustable seats, a Bose sound system, and a Pioneer infotainment screen. The car has been registered in California since new, and it now has 81k miles following its acquisition by the selling dealer in April 2022. Work in preparation for the sale has included replacing the front tires, power-steering pump pulsation damper, transmission mount, and motor mounts. This R230 SL is offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a window sticker, the owner’s manual, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The car is finished in Alabaster White (960) and features a power-folding convertible hardtop, xenon headlights, fog lights, dual exhaust outlets, fender air vents, and the AMG Sport Package, which added revised bumper covers and aerodynamic side skirts.
The 18″ Turbine-style five-hole alloy wheels are mounted with Sumitomo tires out back, and the front Continental tires are said to have been installed in preparation for the sale. The car features Active Body Control suspension as well as electronic stability control and Automatic Slip Control. Other work in preparation for the sale has included replacing the power-steering pump pulsation damper.
The cabin features heated and ventilated power-adjustable seats upholstered in beige leather along with a darker upper dashboard and burled wood trim. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a wind deflector, Keyless Go, a Bose sound system, and an aftermarket Pioneer head unit.
The wood-rimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 81k miles.
The 5.5-liter V8 was factory rated at 382 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque. Work in preparation for the sale has included replacing the engine mounts.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission, and the transmission mounts were replaced in preparation for the sale. Additional photographs of the underside are shown in the gallery below.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Hoehn Motors, Inc. in Carlsbad, California, as well as factory colors, equipment, and a total retail price of $106,755.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in California since new.
