This 1976 Pontiac Firebird Esprit has been modified in the style of a Trans Am and is finished in metallic red over a red vinyl interior. Power comes from a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Features include a shaker hood scoop, front and rear spoilers, Trans Am decals, 17″ alloy wheels, air conditioning, and a Delco push-button radio. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in February 2022, and service in preparation for sale reportedly included replacing the battery and changing the oil. This Firebird is now offered at no reserve with a clean Arizona title.
The car was repainted metallic red under previous ownership and features a “screaming chicken” hood decal, Trans Am graphics, a shaker hood, chrome window trim, front and rear spoilers, and quad exhaust tips.
Silver 17″ alloy wheels are mounted with 255/45 BFGoodrich G-Force Sport Comp 2 tires that show 2012 date codes. Braking is supplied by discs up front and drums in the rear.
The cabin features front bucket seats trimmed in red vinyl together with matching door panels and carpets protected by Trans Am–logo floor mats. Amenities include air conditioning, power windows and door locks, an engine-turned aluminum dash panel, and a Delco AM/FM push-button radio. The HVAC blower motor and the driver’s side window regulator were replaced in 2019.
The three-spoke steering wheel sits ahead of a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an inset analog clock, and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage. The five-digit odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 30 of which were added by the selling dealer. The speedometer cable was replaced in February 2019, and total mileage in unknown.
The 350ci V8 was installed during previous ownership and was removed, disassembled, resealed, and painted in 2015. The distributor was also replaced at that time. The selling dealer notes that service in preparation for the sale included changing the oil and replacing the battery.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission.
