This 2002 Mazda MX-5 Miata is one of approximately 2,500 Special Edition examples produced for the model year. Finished in Titanium Gray Metallic over Saddle brown leather, the 1.8-liter inline-four sends power to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Equipment includes a black soft top, 16″ wheels, fog lights, remote keyless entry, a Nardi steering wheel, and a CD stereo with a Bose sound system. The car was first registered in Massachusetts and spent time in several states before it was acquired by the selling dealer in March 2022. This NB Miata has 31k miles and is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean New Jersey title.
The car is finished in Titanium Gray Metallic and features a black soft top and Special Edition badging. Additional exterior equipment includes an optional front air dam and rear mudguards, extended rocker panel trim, a decklid spoiler, fog lights, a power-retractable antenna, and a chrome-plated aluminum fuel door.
Silver-finished 16″ alloy wheels wear 205/45 Continental Extreme Contact tires. Stopping power comes from four-wheel anti-lock discs, and standard equipment includes double wishbone independent suspension on all four corners.
The bolstered seats are trimmed in Saddle Brown leather with perforated inserts, and two-tone door panels meet the black dashboard. Amenities include cruise control, air conditioning, keyless entry, aluminum pedal covers, and an AM/FM/CD stereo with a Bose sound system.
A leather-wrapped Nardi steering wheel frames a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, a 150-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 31k miles.
The 1.8-liter DOHC inline-four was factory rated at 140 horsepower and 125 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed in preparation for sale. A strut bar is fitted in the engine bay.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a six-speed manual transmission and a Torsen limited-slip differential. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists vehicle history in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Tennessee, Arizona, and New Jersey.
