This 2001 Jeep Cherokee is a two-door Sport model that spent time in Indiana and Florida before it was acquired by the seller in December 2021, and it now has 87k miles. The truck is finished in Patriot Blue Pearl over Agate cloth upholstery and powered by a 4.0-liter inline-six linked with a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Factory equipment includes air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, mirrors, and door locks, as well as a factory stereo with CD and cassette players. Modifications under prior ownership include a lift kit, a Rough Country steering stabilizer bar, and five-spoke 17″ alloy wheels. Work performed under current ownership included refurbishing the rocker panels and repainting the front and rear bumper covers, in addition to replacing air conditioning and brake components. This Cherokee Sport is offered at no reserve with a window sticker, spare and removed parts, a Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The exterior is finished in Patriot Blue Pearl and features a body-color front grille, wheel-arch extensions, and bumper covers along with black side moldings. Additional details include a rear window wiper, roof rails with cross bars, front fog lights, tinted windows, black mirror caps, and side steps. Damage to the front, left front, and right front as a result of a front-end collision with another motor vehicle is noted on the Carfax report in a November 2006 entry. The seller notes the rocker panels were refurbished, and the front and rear bumper covers were repainted in January 2022. Blemishes include paint scratches and dings in the body panels, and the clear coat shows wear.
Later-model silver 17″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Dueler A/T tires. A spare tire is housed in the rear cargo area. The truck rides on a lifted suspension and is fitted with a Rough Country steering stabilizer bar. The seller reports the rear shocks squeak, and a brake flush was performed along with replacing the brake lines and hoses in December 2021.
The cabin features front high-back bucket seats and a rear bench upholstered in patterned Agate cloth. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, carpet floor mats, a factory CD/cassette stereo, as well as power windows, mirrors, and door locks. The headliner was replaced in April 2022, and a set of rubber floor mats accompany the truck.
A two-spoke multifunction steering wheel fronts instrumentation consisting of a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 87k miles, approximately 5k of which were added by the seller.
The 4.0-liter inline-six was rated at 190 horsepower and 225 lb-ft of torque when new. An oil change was performed in December 2021, while the air conditioning compressor, dryer, relay, and switch were replaced in 2022.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Corrosion is visible on underside components, and additional underbody images are viewable in the gallery.
The window sticker lists initial delivery to Arnell Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge-Jeep in Burns Harbor, Indiana, along with factory colors, equipment, and a total price of $23,070.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident and lists registration history in Indiana and Florida.
