This 1981 Porsche 911 Turbo is a Canadian-market coupe that has been registered in British Columbia since the early 1990s. It is powered by a turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six paired with a four-speed manual transaxle and is finished in Platinum Metallic over brown leather. The car is equipped with 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels, ventilated disc brakes, a “tea tray” spoiler, a sunroof, an Alpine stereo, and power windows and mirrors. Service performed in 2022 included an oil change and a replacement battery. This 911 Turbo shows 119k kilometers (~74k miles) and is now offered in Canada by the selling dealer with service records, a clean Carfax report, and British Columbia registration.
The car is finished in Platinum Metallic and features a sunroof, a “tea tray” spoiler, fog lights, power-adjustable side mirrors, a rear window wiper, and dual exhaust outlets. The front bumper was reportedly repainted in the 1980s, and photos showing rock chips on the front as well as a crack on the front spoiler are included in the gallery.
Staggered-width 16″ Fuchs alloy wheels are mounted with Bridgestone Potenza RE-11 tires. Braking is handled by four-wheel ventilated discs.
The front seats are upholstered in brown leather and are complemented by a color-matching rear bench, center console, and door panels. Amenities include an Alpine stereo, a heater, power windows, and floor mats.
The three-spoke steering wheel shows wear and popped seams on the leather cover. It frames VDO instrumentation including a central tachometer with a 6,700-rpm redline as well as a 300-km/h speedometer and gauges for oil level, oil temperature, oil pressure, boost pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 119k kilometers (~74k miles), approximately 500 of which were added under current ownership.
The turbocharged 3.3-liter flat-six was reportedly rebuilt in 1997 under previous ownership and sends power to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transaxle. The selling dealer reports that Carrera timing chain tensioners have been added, and work performed in 2022 has included an oil change and a replacement battery, fuel accumulator, oil cooler hose, seals, and O-rings.
Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery below.
The Carfax report is free of accidents or other damage and shows registration history in British Columbia from an initial update in April 1994.
The car is being offered in British Columbia, which does not issue titles for vehicles. It is being sold on its registration.
