This 2006 Mercedes-Benz SLR McLaren is finished in Crystal Galaxite Black Metallic over black leather and is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter V8 paired with an AMG Speedshift five-speed automatic transmission. Features include 19″ turbine-style wheels, carbon-ceramic disc brakes with red calipers, side-exit exhaust pipes, butterfly doors, an automatically-deploying spoiler with an air-brake function, dual-zone automatic climate control, carbon-fiber bucket seats, and a Bose AM/FM/CD stereo. The car was first registered in Florida and spent time in several states before it was acquired by the selling dealer in February 2021. This SLR McLaren has under 10k miles and is offered at no reserve with a vehicle service report, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Illinois title.
The car is finished in Crystal Galaxite Black Metallic (158U), and exterior features include upward-opening butterfly doors, a rear diffuser, dual exhaust outlets located behind the front wheels, and an electronically deployed spoiler with an air-brake function.
The 19″ turbine-style wheels wear Michelin Pilot Super Sport tires. Stopping power is provided by carbon-ceramic discs paired with red Mercedes-Benz-branded calipers at all four corners, and the car is equipped with a Sensotronic Brake Control system (SBC).
Power-adjustable carbon-fiber bucket seats are trimmed in black exclusive leather (511A). Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a shift knob-mounted starter button, a programmable garage door opener, controls for the spoiler and air-brake system, and a Bose AM/FM/CD stereo.
The multifunction steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and fronts a McLaren-branded 220-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 7k-rpm redline, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates under 10k miles.
The front-mid-mounted 5.6-liter AMG V8 was factory rated at 617 horsepower and 575 lb-ft of torque and features all-aluminum construction, dry-sump lubrication, and a Lysholm-type twin-screw supercharger. The alternator and coolant hoses were replaced in July 2021.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via an AMG Speedshift five-speed automatic transmission. Additional underbody photos are provided in the gallery.
The Carfax report indicates no accidents or other damage and shows history in Florida, Illinois, Texas, California, Missouri, Montana, Ohio, and Illinois.
