This 2008 Mercedes-Benz CLK63 AMG Black Series is powered by a 6.2-liter M156 V8 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission and is finished in black over black Nappa leather. Equipment includes a limited-slip differential, 19″ AMG multi-spoke wheels, an AMG adjustable coil-over suspension, bi-xenon headlights, carbon-fiber trim, COMAND infotainment, navigation, Keyless-Go, and dual-zone automatic climate control. The car was first sold in Florida and spent time in New Jersey, Minnesota, and California, where it was acquired by the seller in an April 2020 BaT auction. This CLK63 AMG Black Series has 41k miles and is now offered with a clean Carfax report and a clean California title in the name of the seller’s trust.
DTM-inspired flared fenders, carbon-fiber-reinforced front and rear aprons, and a carbon-fiber decklid spoiler were added to the CLK63 Black Series, and this example is finished in black (040U). Additional equipment includes bi-xenon headlights, heated side mirrors, fender vents, and quad polished exhaust outlets. The windows were tinted and a clear paint protection film was added under prior ownership across the front, the doors, a portion of the roof, and side sill extensions. The clear coat on the rear trunk spoiler has blemishes.
The 19″ AMG multi-spoke alloy wheels are mounted with H&R wheel spacers and wear Michelin Pilot Sport 4S tires. Adjustable coilovers and AMG Electronic Stability Program (ESP) were standard. Stopping power is provided by multi-piston AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled and slotted rotors at all four corners.
The cockpit features bolstered bucket seats trimmed in black Nappa leather along with a color-matching dashboard, door panels, and carpets. The rear seats were deleted in Black Series models, and amenities include aluminum and carbon-fiber trim, Keyless-Go, dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.
The flat-bottom leather-wrapped AMG steering wheel is equipped with paddle shifters and frames a 200-mph speedometer, an 8k-rpm tachometer, an analog clock, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 41k miles, approximately 100 of which were added under current ownership.
The hand-assembled 6.2-liter M156 V8 was factory rated at 500 horsepower and 465 lb-ft of torque. An oil change was performed and the battery was replaced in May 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through an AMG Speedshift seven-speed automatic transmission and a limited-slip differential.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Florida, New Jersey, Minnesota, and California.
