This 1999 Toyota 4Runner SR5 has been registered in Arizona since new and was acquired by the seller in 2021. Power is supplied by 3.4-liter 5VZ-FE V6 that has been fitted with a TRD supercharger and is linked with a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential. The truck is finished in black over gray cloth upholstery and features the Sport Package, 16″ alloy wheels, a sunroof, air conditioning, a CD player, cruise control, and a power rear window. Refurbishment work completed under current ownership has included an exterior repaint, a suspension overhaul, and a drivetrain refresh with a replacement clutch assembly, rear main seal, intake plenum seal, and spark plugs. This 4Runner shows 171k miles and is now offered with the owner’s manual, service records, and a clean Arizona title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in black and features the Sport Package, which specified a roof rack, black SR5 fender flares, and fog lights. Additional equipment includes a sunroof, mud flaps, skid plates, a receiver hitch, and a rear window wiper. The exterior was refinished in the factory black in June 2021, replacement headlights were installed in July 2021, and a replacement windshield was installed in May 2022.
Limited-spec 16″ alloy wheels are mounted with 265/75 Falken Wildpeak AT3W tires. Braking is handled by 13″ anti-lock front discs and rear drums. Work completed in April 2021 included replacing the steering rack, the front brake rotors and pads, the rear drums and shoes, the rear axle seals, the front and rear shocks and springs, the front CV axles, and the control arm bushings.
The cabin features gray cloth upholstery on the seats along with a gray dashboard, center console, door panel inserts, and carpets. Equipment includes air conditioning, an AM/FM/cassette stereo, a CD player, cruise control, and a power rear window. The seller reportedly replaced the clutch pedal assembly, springs, and bushings. Aftermarket dash-top and steering-wheel covers are shown installed and removed in the gallery.
The four-spoke steering wheel frames a 110-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 171k miles, approximately 3K of which were added under current ownership.
The 3.4-liter 5VZ-FE V6 was modified with a TRD supercharger kit in 2021. The seller states the timing belt, valve cover gaskets, intake plenum gasket, and spark plugs were replaced in 2021. Service in May 2022 reportedly included rebuilding the supercharger nose cone and replacing the drive belts, supercharger belt, TRD idler pulley, and nose cone bearings, seals, and oil.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed manual transmission, a dual-range transfer case, and a locking rear differential. The seller states the clutch assembly, flywheel, rear main seal, and front transfer case output seal were replaced under current ownership.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Arizona since new.
