This 1980 Pontiac Firebird Trans Am is finished in metallic blue over black vinyl upholstery and is powered by a 4.9-liter V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 15″ aluminum wheels, power steering, air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt steering column, and a Delco push-button AM/FM stereo. The car was acquired by the selling dealer in 2022, and subsequent service is said to include an oil change and an engine tune-up. This Trans Am is now offered with a window sticker, delivery documents, manufacturer’s literature, and a Washington State title.
The car was ordered in Tahoe Blue, and the selling dealer states that the car was repainted during prior ownership and notes that there is a scrape on the front bumper cap. Features include quadruple headlights, a reverse hood scoop, a front air dam, fender vents, painted mirror caps, and an integrated rear spoiler.
Reproduction 15″ snowflake wheels have been installed, and they are wrapped in 245/60 Goodyear Eagle S/T white-letter tires. The car is equipped with power-assisted steering and power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.
The cabin features black vinyl upholstery with color-coordinated door panels and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a tilt steering column, and a Delco push-button AM/FM stereo.
A three-spoke steering wheel fronts an engine-turned dash panel housing an 85-mph speedometer and gauges for oil pressure, coolant temperature, voltage, and fuel level. The five-digit odometer shows 62k miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the selling dealer. The tachometer does not work.
The 4.9-liter V8 was factory rated at 155 horsepower and 240 lb-ft of torque. The selling dealer states that an oil change and engine tune-up were performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a three-speed automatic transmission. The car is equipped with a dual exhaust system.
The window sticker lists colors, equipment, and a total amount of $9,430.52. Additional included literature is shown in the gallery below.
The Washington title carries a Classic brand.
This Trans Am will be in attendance at The Shop in Seattle for the BaT Alumni Gathering on Saturday, June 25. If you are coming to the event, please stop by to see it along with many other BaT alumni vehicles and their owners. Hope to see you there!
