This 2014 Toyota FJ Cruiser is one of 2,500 Trail Teams Ultimate Edition examples built for the model year and is finished in Heritage Blue over black and gray cloth upholstery. Power is provided by a 4.0-liter V6 mated to a five-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Equipment includes Bilstein shocks, 16″ TRD alloy wheels, Active Traction Control (A-TRAC), a skid plate, rock rails, a roof rack, a brush guard with PIAA fog lamps, power-adjustable front seats, and an upgraded CD stereo. The truck spent time in Florida and Georgia prior to the seller’s acquisition in 2018, and it was recently relocated from Michigan to California. This FJ Cruiser has 79k miles and is offered in California with two keys, manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Wisconsin title in the seller’s name.
The truck is finished in Heritage Blue (8X0) and features Trail Teams Ultimate Edition-specific equipment consisting of a color-matched roof, a white-finished grille, a roof rack, rock rails, a TRD aluminum skid plate, and Trail Teams badging. Additional details include a receiver hitch, front and rear tow hooks, and black lower cladding and bumpers. A brush guard with PIAA fog lamps has been installed.
TRD 16″ beadlock-style wheels are wrapped in 265/75 BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A tires, and a full-size spare is located at the rear. Stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes, and the truck is equipped with TRD Bilstein shocks and Active Traction Control (A-TRAC).
The front bucket seats and rear bench are upholstered in two-tone black and gray water-resistant fabric, while matte silver trim accents the dashboard and center stack. Rubberized mats protect the carpets and rear cargo area, and additional appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, a dash-mounted Ultimate Edition badge, a CD stereo with Bluetooth functionality, and an auto-dimming mirror with an integrated rearview camera display. The stereo system has reportedly been upgraded with an OEMAudio+ components package. The passenger-side panel of the rear cargo compartment shows a crack, and the seller states that the parking brake handle has been replaced.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 5,500-rpm redline, and a combination gauge with readouts for fuel level, coolant temperature, and voltage. A trio of gauges is mounted atop the dash and consists of a compass, a digital clock, and a gyroscope. The digital odometer indicates 79k miles, approximately 17k of which have been added by the seller.
The 4.0-liter V6 features variable valve timing and was factory rated at 260 horsepower and 271 lb-ft of torque.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional photos of the underside are provided in the gallery.
Two keys, manufacturer’s literature, and service records accompany the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists history in Florida, Georgia, Wisconsin, Michigan, and California.
