This 1974 Ford F-250 4×4 is a crew cab pickup that is powered by a replacement 300ci inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. The truck is finished in red over multi-color upholstery, and equipment includes aftermarket 20″ wheels, manually-locking front hubs, power-assisted brakes, towing side mirrors, chrome side step rails, a tonneau cover, aftermarket auxiliary gauges, and a Philco push-button radio. The truck was sold new in Alberta, Canada, and was reportedly acquired by the seller in 2020. This F-250 is offered with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, and a clean Idaho title in the seller’s name.
The truck was finished from the factory in Candyapple Red (T) and is said to have been repainted during previous ownership. Features include black-finished bumpers, towing side mirrors, front and rear receiver hitches, chrome side step rails, a sliding rear window, splash guards, and a black tonneau cover. Indentations are noted in the front grille.
Aftermarket 20″ wheels are finished in black and are mounted with 35×12.50″ Blacklion Voracio M/T tires. Braking is handled by power-assisted drums at all four corners.
The interior features bench seating trimmed in multi-tone red upholstery up front and black vinyl in the rear. Sheetmetal surfaces are finished in body color, and amenities include hand-crank side windows, a heater, a patterned seat cover, a center armrest with cupholders, and a Philco push-button radio.
A two-spoke steering wheel exhibits cracking and frames a 100-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. Aftermarket gauges are mounted beneath the dash, and the fuel level gauge is non-functional. The five-digit odometer indicates under 19k miles, approximately of which have been added by the seller. True mileage is unknown.
The factory 360ci V8 has been replaced with a 300ci inline-six that was installed during previous ownership. Service in February 2022 included an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a dual-range transfer case. Additional underside images are shown below.
Documentation accompanying the truck includes manufacturer’s literature and a window sticker detailing colors, equipment, and initial delivery to Les Koch Mercury of Edmonton, Alberta, Canada with a $7,506 suggested retail price.
