This 1994 Porsche 911 is one of approximately 1,500 Turbo 3.6 models produced for the 1993/1994 model year. It was built on October 19, 1993 and was delivered new to Park Place Motorcars, Ltd. of Dallas, Texas, prior to being acquired by the seller in January 2006. The car is powered by a turbocharged 3.6-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle and is finished in black over matching leather. Equipment includes a torque-controlled differential, a fixed rear spoiler, polished 18″ Speedline for Porsche wheels, a power sunroof, a CD stereo, air conditioning, cruise control, and power-adjustable front seats. Work performed in preparation for the sale reportedly included the replacement of the oil breather, the oil return tubes, and the brake booster. This 964 Turbo shows 55k miles and is offered with a window sticker, an owner’s manual, service records, a Porsche Certificate of Authenticity, enthusiast literature, a removed factory radio, mirror bras, a tool kit, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title in the seller’s name.
The 964 Turbo featured widened bodywork when compared to the contemporary 911 and was fitted with aerodynamic side mirrors and a fixed rear spoiler. The 3.6-powered variant was introduced in January 1993, and this example is finished in black (A1). Features include fog lights, headlight washers, a power-operated sliding steel sunroof, a rear window wiper, and dual exhaust outlets. According to the seller, clear paint protection film was removed in preparation for the sale, and paint meter photos can be viewed in the gallery below.
The multi-piece 18″ Speedline for Porsche wheels wear Porsche-crest center caps and are mounted with 225/40 front and 285/30 rear Bridgestone Potenza S-04 Pole Position tires showing 2010 date codes. The Turbo features uprated brakes compared to the standard 964, including larger calipers and cross-drilled rotors at each corner. The seller notes that the brake fluid was flushed and the brake booster was replaced in preparation for the sale.
The cabin features power-adjustable front seats trimmed in Black Supple Leather along with a color-matching dashboard, door panels, and carpeting. Amenities include air conditioning, cruise control, a Porsche-branded CD stereo, a remote six-disc CD changer, and power windows. The removed factory AM/FM/cassette stereo is included in the sale.
A leather-wrapped airbag steering wheel frames a central tachometer as well as a 180-mph speedometer and gauges for fuel level, oil level, oil temperature, and oil pressure. The six-digit odometer shows 55k miles, approximately 10k of which were added during current ownership. The quartz clock was replaced in March 2022.
The turbocharged 3.6-liter M64 flat-six was new for 1993 and used increased boost and compression to deliver a factory-rated 355 horsepower and 384 lb-ft torque. The spark plugs were replaced in 2018, and service in preparation for the sale included replacement of the oil breather and oil return tubes and the coolant temperature sensor along with an oil change.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle and a torque-controlled differential. A Burns Stainless muffler is fitted and the removed factory muffler is included in the sale.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Park Place Motorcars, factory colors, options, and a total price of $104,194.
The Porsche Certificate of Authenticity indicates factory engine and transmission numbers as well as colors and options.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with service records, a tool kit, an air pump, mirror bras, and enthusiast literature.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or damage and lists registration history in Texas, Ohio, Illinois, and Florida.
