This 1978 Mercedes-Benz 300D is finished in red over tan MB-Tex upholstery and powered by 3.0-liter diesel inline-five paired with a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 14″ wheels, bright trim, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a Kenwood cassette stereo. The car was acquired by the seller in 2022 and now shows 182k miles. This W123 is being offered with Connecticut registration.
The car is finished in red and was reportedly repainted under prior ownership. Features include chrome US-spec impact bumpers, side trim, and mirrors, along with a power antenna and a single outlet exhaust. The electric sunroof is inoperable.
Factory 14″ steel wheels wear color-matched covers and are mounted with 195/70 Bridgestone Weatherforce Plus tires.
The interior features seating surfaces upholstered in tan MB-Tex with matching door panels and carpets, along with a contrasting black dashboard accented with Zebrano wood veneer trim. Appointments include automatic climate control, cruise control, power windows, and a Kenwood cassette stereo. Cracks are noted on the dash.
A four-spoke steering wheel frames a 115-mph speedometer, an analog clock, and a combination gauge for fuel level, oil pressure, and coolant temperature. The six-digit mechanical odometer shows 182k miles, approximately 100 of which have been added by the seller.
The naturally-aspirated 3.0L diesel inline-five was factory rated at 77 horsepower and 115 lb-ft of torque and power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.

The car does not have a title, as it is registered in a state that does not issue titles for a vehicle of its age. It is being sold on its registration.
