This 1987 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ60 is powered by a 4.2-liter 2F inline-six linked with a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The truck is finished in white over brown vinyl and is equipped with aftermarket 15” wheels, front disc brakes, locking front hubs, a receiver hitch, LED headlights, and a Kenwood stereo. The truck was reportedly sold new at Burt Toyota in Englewood, Colorado, and it also spent time in Idaho prior to its acquisition by the seller in August 2017. Subsequent work has reportedly included installing an Old Man Emu suspension lift kit, reupholstering the seats, and replacing the clutch, alternator, and carburetor. This FJ60 shows 271k miles and is now offered with a factory tool kit, a center console, and a Washington title in the seller’s name.
The truck has been repainted in White (033) with side graphics, and it features round LED headlights, driving lights, chrome bumpers with black end caps, sport side mirrors, a receiver hitch, a rear window wiper, and a split tailgate. A dent can be seen in the rear bumper. The Carfax report lists an accident occurring in November 1997, with no further details noted.
Black-finished 15″ wheels are mounted with Falken Wildpeak A/T AT3W tires. The front axle is equipped with manually locking hubs, and braking is handled by front discs and rear drums. The suspension has been modified with an Old Man Emu lift kit that was reportedly installed in 2018.
The cabin is said to have been refreshed in 2019 and features brown vinyl seating surfaces, cloth upholstery on the door panels, a dashboard cover, and rubber floor mats. Equipment includes a Kenwood stereo, an aftermarket center console, a rear window defroster, and manual wind-up windows. Air conditioning is equipped, but it does not work, and the removed factory center console is included in the sale.
The three-spoke steering wheel frames an 85-mph speedometer, a 4k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature, voltage, oil pressure, and fuel level. The six-digit odometer shows 271k miles, approximately 35k of which were added under current ownership.
The 4.2-liter 2F inline-six is equipped with a single carburetor and was factory rated at 135 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. The alternator and carburetor are said to have been replaced in 2017.
Power is delivered to the rear or all four wheels through a four-speed manual transmission and a two-speed transfer case. The clutch is said to have been replaced in 2019.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned accident in November 1997 as well as registration history in Colorado, Idaho, and Washington. The Washington title lists “Antique” in the Brands section.
