This 1999 Porsche Boxster is finished in black with a matching convertible soft top over Savanna Beige leather, and it is powered by a 2.5-liter flat-six paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. Equipment includes 17″ cast alloy wheels, a deployable rear spoiler, automatic climate control, power windows, power locks, and an aftermarket stereo. The car has spent its life in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia, and it was acquired in April 2022 by the seller, who has since added approximately 100 of the 53k indicated miles. Recent service has included repairing the ECU and replacing the variocam solenoid. This Boxster is now offered at no reserve with the removed stereo and a branded Georgia title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Black (L741) with a black soft top. Additional features include a speed-activated rear spoiler, side air intakes, roll hoops, and a single central exhaust outlet. The Carfax report lists an accident in October 2018 with “minor damage” to the nose, left door, and right-rear corner, and the report notes that the vehicle was “declared a total loss by an insurance company” at that time. The report shows additional “minor damage” to the right-rear corner occurring in May 2019.
The 17″ cast alloy wheels show finish imperfections and are mounted with Michelin Pilot Sport All Season 4 tires. Braking is handled by four-piston Porsche-branded calipers fitted over vented rotors at all four corners.
The cabin features power-adjustable seats upholstered in Savanna Beige leather along with a matching dashboard and door panels. Features include an aftermarket stereo, a wind deflector, and automatic climate control.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel fronts a central tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 53k miles.
The mid-mounted 2.5-liter M96 flat-six was factory rated at 201 horsepower and 181 lb-ft of torque, which is sent to the rear wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. An oil change was performed in preparation for the sale, and other recent service has included repairing the ECU and replacing the variocam solenoid in May 2022.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage reports as well as a total loss declaration and subsequent “Salvage” and “Rebuilt” titles. The report also shows registration history in North Carolina, South Carolina, and Georgia. The Georgia title includes a “Rebuilt” brand and can be seen in the gallery below.
