This 2001 Mercedes-Benz CLK430 coupe is a black-over-black example that was first registered in California and now has 78k miles. Power is provided by a 4.3L V8 linked with a five-speed automatic transmission. Additional equipment includes 17″ AMG wheels, AMG-designed bodywork, xenon headlights, a sunroof, dual-zone automatic climate control, a factory AM/FM stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer, and heated front seats. This C208 is now offered at no reserve by the selling dealer with manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title.
The body is finished in black (040) and features an AMG-designed front air dam, rear apron, and side skirts. Additional equipment includes a power sunroof, xenon headlights, fog lights, Fog Lightsand a single exhaust outlet. The selling dealer notes damage on the lower-front bumper insert show as well as touched-up paint chips. Paint meter readings are viewable in the gallery below.
Five-spoke 17″ AMG wheels show curb rash and are wrapped with Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 3+ tires measuring 225/45 up front and 245/40 out back. The selling dealer states that the sidewall of the right-front tire was trimmed during previous ownership.
The cabin features heated front bucket seats trimmed in Anthracite leather (211) that extends to the rear seats. Black Birdseye maple wood trim accents the gear selector, center console, and door panels. Additional appointments include dual-zone automatic climate control, cruise control, a rear-window sunshade, and an AM/FM stereo with a trunk-mounted CD changer. The speaker cover in the left-door is cracked.
A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer with a 6k-rpm redline, and gauges for fuel level and coolant temperature. The digital odometer indicates 78k miles.
The 4.3-liter M113 V8 was factory rated at 275 horsepower and 295 lb-ft of torque. The car last passed a California emissions test in May 2022, and an oil change was performed in preparation for the sale.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside images are viewable in the gallery below.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in California.
