This 1968 Triumph GT6 Mark I has been refinished in red over black leather and is powered by a 2.0-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed manual transmission. Equipment includes 13″ Panasport-style wheels, chrome bumpers, wood dashboard trim, and a Panasonic head unit. The car was reportedly acquired by the selling dealer in 2010, and work in 2022 included replacing the clutch cylinders, brake master cylinder, and fuel pump. This GT6 is now offered in Missouri with partial service records, a car cover, and a clean Nebraska title.
The car was repainted red under previous ownership, and equipment includes a top-hinged rear hatch, pop-out quarter windows, front vent windows, mud flaps, and a chrome front bumper and rear corner bumpers. The selling dealer notes a scratch on the driver-side rear quarter panel. Close-up photos of the finish, lenses, and trim can be viewed in the gallery below.
Silver-finished 13″ Panasport-style wheels wear Triumph-logo center caps and are wrapped in 155/80 Lemans Champion SE tires that show 2015 date codes. Braking is provided by front discs and rear drums.
The cabin features low-backed bucket seats upholstered in black leather along with wood trim on the dashboard. Equipment includes a Panasonic head unit, a center armrest, and a passenger-side grab bar. Wear and cracks are noted in the dash top, as pictured in the gallery.
The three-spoke steering wheel fronts a 120-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The five-digit odometer shows 10k miles, approximately 500 of which were added by the selling dealer. True mileage is unknown.
The front-hinged clamshell hood covers a 2.0-liter inline-six, and electronic ignition and a gear-reduction starter have been installed. Work in 2022 included replacing the brake master cylinder, clutch cylinders, and fuel pump. The selling dealer states that starting fluid is periodically required to start the engine.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a four-speed manual transmission.
