This 1973 Chevrolet Monte Carlo was delivered new to Kerr Chevrolet in Hastings, Nebraska, and was acquired by the selling dealer in April 2022. The car is powered by a 350ci V8 paired with a three-speed automatic transmission, and it is finished in blue over matching upholstery. Features include a vinyl roof, 15″ Rally wheels, chrome bumpers, air conditioning, cruise control, and a Delco push-button AM radio. This Monte Carlo is now offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with the window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, sales documentation, and a clean South Dakota title.
The car is finished in Light Blue Metallic and is equipped with a blue vinyl roof cover, a driver-side mirror, and chrome bumpers, rocker panels, and trim. Exterior blemishes are shown in the gallery below.
Factory 15″ Rally wheels feature polished Chevrolet center caps and are wrapped in 215/75 Hankook Kinergy ST tires. Stopping power comes from power-assisted front disc and rear drum brakes.
The seating surfaces are trimmed in blue cloth with color-matching vinyl on the seatbacks, dash, and door panels. Interior amenities include an analog clock, cruise control, air conditioning, a locking glovebox, lap belts, and a Delco push-button AM radio. A sticker in the engine bay indicates that the air conditioning was converted to R134a refrigerant in 2016.
The two-spoke steering wheel features woodgrain trim and fronts a 120-mph speedometer and a fuel-level gauge. The five-digit mechanical odometer shows 9k miles, a handful of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 350ci V8 features a four-barrel carburetor and was rated at 175 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque when new. Service in July 2016 included flushing the coolant and replacing the thermostat and valve cover gaskets.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tubo Hydra-Matic three-speed automatic transmission. The transmission fluid was flushed in July 2016. Corrosion is noted on the pinch welds.
The window sticker lists standard and optional equipment as well as a total price of $4,882.50. Manufacturer’s literature and sales documentation will also accompany the car.
