This 2001 Jaguar XK8 convertible is finished in Seafrost Metallic with a dark green soft top over ivory leather upholstery. Power comes from a 4.0-liter V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 18″ alloy wheels, rear parking sensors, heated front seats, automatic climate control, and a factory cassette stereo and CD changer linked to an Alpine sound system. The car has remained registered in Florida since new and was acquired by the selling dealer in March 2022. This XK8 convertible is now offered with manufacturer’s literature, service records, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Florida title.
The exterior is finished in Seafrost Metallic and features a power-operated dark green convertible soft top with a heated glass rear window. Additional details includes fog lights, rain-sensing windshield wipers, rear parking sensors, an extending antenna, and dual exhaust outlets.
Factory 18″ alloy wheels wear 245/45 front and 255/45 rear Sumitomo HTR ZIII tires. The rear shocks were replaced in July 2021.
The cabin features seating surfaces upholstered in ivory leather that extends to the door panels, center console, and lower dashboard. Additional appointments include a beige leather-wrapped upper dashboard, burl wood trim, power-adjustable and heated front seats, automatic climate control, cruise control, and a factory cassette stereo and trunk-mounted CD changer linked to an Alpine sound system.
The leather-wrapped and wood-trimmed steering wheel fronts a 170-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 58k miles, approximately 100 of which were added by the selling dealer.
The 4.0-liter V8 was factory rated at 290 horsepower and 290 lb-ft of torque when new. The secondary upper timing chain tensioners were replaced in 2014, the coolant hoses and radiator hoses were replaced in 2015, and the water pump was reportedly replaced in 2016. An oil change was carried out in 2021.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels via a five-speed automatic transmission. Additional underside photos are provided in the gallery.
Manufacturer’s literature is included in the sale along with two remote key fobs.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Florida.
