This 2001 Dodge Ram 2500HD SLT is a Quad Cab pickup that was first delivered to Union Dodge in South Carolina and is powered by a 5.9-liter Cummins turbodiesel inline-six linked to a four-speed automatic transmission and an anti-spin differential. The truck is finished in two-tone black and silver over a gray cloth interior, and additional equipment includes the Trailer Tow and Camper Special groups, 16″ forged aluminum wheels, fog lamps, a receiver hitch, an aftermarket dual-outlet exhaust, a black Century truck cap, keyless entry, air conditioning, cruise control, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. The truck was recently acquired by the selling dealer in Pennsylvania, and work performed in preparation for the sale is said to have included performing an oil change and replacing the fuel transfer pump and fuel filter. This Ram 2500HD now has 129k miles and is offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with a window sticker, manufacturer’s literature, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Pennsylvania title.
The truck is finished in Black Clear Coat with Bright Silver Metallic lower bodywork and features Century truck cap with an American-flag graphic on the rear window. Additional equipment includes fog lights, tubular side steps, and a rear receiver hitch. Close-up images of exterior blemishes are included in the photo gallery below.
Polished 16″ forged aluminum wheels are mounted with 265/75 Primewell Valera H/T tires, and a spare steel wheel with an older Firestone tire are mounted under the bed of the truck. Stopping power is provided four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes. The truck is equipped with the Trailer Tow Group as well as the Camper Special Group, which added a rear stabilizer bar and rear auxiliary springs.
The cab features a 40/20/40 split front bench seat and a folding rear bench seat upholstered in Agate cloth that extends to the door panel inserts. Additional appointments include air conditioning, cruise control, an AM/FM/CD stereo, keyless entry, a sliding rear window, and power windows, mirrors, and door locks. The truck is equipped with a Draw-Tite trailer brake controller, and a button mounted under the dash controls an aftermarket horn.
The leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 100-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 129k miles.
The Cummins 5.9-liter turbodiesel inline-six features an engine block heater and was factory rated at 235 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. Work performed in preparation for the sale is said to have included changing the oil and replacing the fuel transfer pump and fuel filter.
Power is sent to the rear wheels via a four-speed automatic transmission and an anti-spin differential. The truck is equipped with an aftermarket dual-outlet exhaust system.
The window sticker shows initial delivery to Union Dodge in South Carolina and lists factory equipment, colors, and a total price of $34,440.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in South Carolina, Ohio, and Pennsylvania.
