This Factory Five Racing Mk3 Roadster is a Cobra replica that is said to have been assembled in 2016 and is finished in silver with blue stripes over a black vinyl interior. Power is provided by a 460ci V8 linked with a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and a limited-slip rear axle. Features include a driver-side roll hoop, a side-exit exhaust system, rack-and-pinion steering, four-wheel disc brakes, and 17″ alloy wheels. The car was first offered on BaT in May 2020 before being acquired on the site in December 2020 by the seller, who listed it here again in February 2022. This Cobra replica is now offered with uninstalled Smiths gauges and a Florida title in the seller’s name.
The fiberglass body is finished in silver with blue stripes and features a chrome driver-side roll hoop and nudge bars with overriders. Additional equipment includes a bullet-style driver-side mirror, a polished fuel filler, and side-exit exhaust pipes. A Factory Five Racing hood scoop and 427 fender badges were added under current ownership.
Silver 17” alloy wheels feature polished lips and are mounted with 245/45 front and 315/35 rear Goodyear Eagle F1 tires. The car features power-assisted rack-and-pinion steering, and stopping power is provided by four-wheel disc brakes.
The cabin features low-back bucket seats trimmed in black vinyl with matching door panels and carpets. Additional appointments include four-point Simpson harnesses, tinted sun visors, and a fire extinguisher mounted under the dash. The battery is located in the carpeted trunk.
A wood-rimmed steering wheel wears an AC center cap and fronts AutoMeter C2 instrumentation consisting of a tachometer, a 160-mph speedometer, and auxiliary gauges mounted in the center of the dash. The digital odometer shows 2,400 miles, approximately 600 of which have been added by the seller. The oil temperature gauge is said to be inoperative, and a set of uninstalled Smiths gauges is included in the sale.
The Ford Performance 460ci Boss V8 crate engine features a Holley Double Pumper four-barrel carburetor, a Weiand high-rise aluminum intake manifold, and Ford Racing valve covers. Spark is provided by an MSD distributor, coil, and 6AL ignition-control module. The seller notes a leak in the rear intake gasket, and a replacement unit will accompany the car.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission and an 8.8″ rear axle with a limited-slip differential and 3.73:1 gearing.
The Factory Five Racing data plate shows a 2004 year of manufacture as well as the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania assigned VIN SW139526PA with which the car is titled. The current Florida title carries a “PA-KIT” brand and lists the car as a 2016 Assembled Vehicle. A redacted copy of the title can be viewed in the gallery.
