This 1966 Chevrolet Corvette is an A.O. Smith-built coupe that is finished in blue over blue vinyl. The car was imported from the US to Canada and underwent a body-off refurbishment circa 2010 that included a repaint and an overhaul of its replacement 427ci V8. Equipment includes a Muncie M22 four-speed manual transmission and a Positraction rear end as well as turbine-style alloy wheels, power four-wheel disc brakes, and an AM/FM radio. The car was acquired by its current owner in 2020, and service in preparation for the sale included cleaning the brakes, adjusting the carburetor, changing the oil, resealing the tires, servicing the speedometer, and installing an electronic ignition. This C2 is now offered by the seller on behalf of its current owner with an owner’s manual, a 2019 Corvette Black Book, a features and options sales brochure, refurbishment photos, import documents, appraisals, a copy of its window sticker, and British Columbia registration in the owner’s name.
The car was refinished in Laguna Blue in 2010 and features split bumpers, retractable headlights, vented fenders, and chrome-trimmed hood vents as well as cast rocker accents, a driver-side mirror, and dual exhaust outlets that exit through the rear valance. The seller notes paint blemishes on the upper front fenders, photos of which can be viewed in the gallery.
Aftermarket 15″ turbine-style alloy wheels secured with three-eared knock-off spinners wear Coker Classic Goldline tires that were resealed and balanced in 2022. Braking is managed by power-assisted four-wheel discs that were cleaned in preparation for the sale.
The bucket seats are trimmed in Dark Blue vinyl and the cockpit features a matching dash pad, door panels, and carpeting. Appointments include lap belts as well as an analog clock and a vertically-mounted push-button AM/FM radio in the center stack.
The three-spoke woodgrain steering wheel fronts a 160-mph speedometer, a 7k-rpm tachometer, and gauges for fuel level, coolant temperature, oil pressure, and amperage. The five-digit odometer shows 1,300 miles, 300 of which were driven under current ownership. True mileage is unknown. The speedometer is said to have been serviced in 2022.
The 427ci V8 is said to have been replaced under warranty and is equipped with solid lifters and a Holley 4053 four-barrel carburetor. The engine is said to have been overhauled in 2010 while the carburetor was rebuilt in 2020 and a Pertronix electronic ignition and MSD Blaster coil were installed in preparation for the sale.
The number CE357741 is stamped on the engine block.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a close-ratio M-22 four-speed manual transmission that is said to have been rebuilt as well as a limited-slip differential.
The trim tag decodes as follows:
- L15 — July 15, 1966 production date

- STYLE 66 437 — 1966 two-door sport coupe
