This 1991 Acura NSX has been registered in Texas since new and was acquired by the seller in 2021. Finished in black over matching leather upholstery, the car is powered by a 3.0-liter VTEC V6 mated to a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. Equipment includes pop-up headlights, side air intakes, power-adjustable seats, staggered-diameter wheels, and an integrated rear spoiler. Work performed in March 2021 included a timing belt service as well as replacing the battery, valve cover gaskets, and drive belts. This NSX now shows 63k miles and is offered with an accident-free Carfax report and a clean Texas title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in Berlina Black (NH-547), and exterior details include an integrated rear spoiler, pop-up headlights, side air-intakes, power mirrors, and polished dual exhaust outlets. The seller notes the front bumper cover has been refinished under previous ownership, scratches are present on the front and rear bumper covers, and additional photos of the condition of the exterior are provided in the gallery.
Forged five-spoke wheels measure 15″ in diameter up front and 16″ out back and are mounted with Hankook Ventus V2 tires that were installed in August 2021. A temporary spare is stored in the front trunk. The car features a four-wheel double-wishbone suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars and braking is handled by NSX-branded calipers over vented rotors at each corner.
The cabin features power-adjustable sport seats upholstered in black leather, which extends to the dashboard and door panels. Interior amenities include automatic climate control, cruise control, and power-operated windows, mirrors, and locks. The stainless-steel sill plates are stamped with the car’s serial number. The climate control unit has been rebuilt and the seller states the air conditioning compressor, drier, and expansion valve were replaced. The seller states the radio powers on but does not function and there is a misaligned trimpiece at the top of the dashboard.
A leather-wrapped steering wheel frames a 188-mph speedometer, a tachometer with an 8k-rpm redline, and oil pressure, coolant temperature, fuel level, and voltage gauges. The six-digit odometer shows 63k miles. The seller states the ABS warning light illuminates intermittently.
The mid-mounted 3.0-liter V6 features VTEC variable valve timing and was factory rated at 270 horsepower and 210 lb-ft of torque. A timing belt service was performed in March 2021, at which point the battery, water pump, valve cover gaskets, oil dipstick seal, oil pump seal, and alternator belt were replaced.
Power is routed to the rear wheels via a five-speed manual transaxle and a limited-slip differential. A photo showing transaxle serial number J4A4-1003071 is provided in the gallery, indicating that the unit falls outside the snap ring failure range.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history from new in Texas. The report also shows the vehicle was registered in a county declared a flood disaster area by FEMA.
