This 2012 Mercedes-Benz S550 is a black-over-black example powered by a twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter V8 paired with a seven-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes heated and ventilated power-adjustable front seats, 18″ wheels, a backup camera, bi-xenon headlights, soft-close doors, Parktronic, Keyless-Go, and COMAND with navigation. The seller reportedly purchased the car new and reacquired it as a Certified Pre-Owned example in January 2017, and it now has 10k miles. This W221 S550 is now offered with the owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean California title in the seller’s name.
The car is finished in black with chrome trim and features bi-xenon headlights, a sunroof, Parktronic, soft-close doors, blind-spot monitoring, a power-operated trunk lid, polished exhaust outlets, and auto-dimming mirrors with integrated signal lighting.
The 18″ five-spoke wheels are mounted with Continental ContiProContact tires measuring 255/45 at each corner. The car is equipped with Airmatic semi-active suspension, and braking is handled by four-wheel vented disc brakes.
The heated and ventilated 14-way power-adjustable front seats feature memory settings and are upholstered in black leather complemented by burl wood on the dashboard, steering wheel, center console, and door panels. Amenities include dual-zone automatic climate control, Keyless-Go, a backup camera, and COMAND infotainment with navigation.
The wood- and leather-trimmed steering wheel frames a 160-mph speedometer, a tachometer, and gauges for coolant temperature and fuel level. The digital odometer indicates 10k miles, all but approximately 1,400 of which were added by the seller.
The twin-turbocharged 4.7-liter M278 V8 was factory rated at 429 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The oil was most recently changed in January 2022.
Power is sent to the rear wheels through a seven-speed automatic transmission.
Manufacturer’s literature and accessories are included in the sale.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists registration, service, and emissions inspection history in California.
