This 1980 Mercedes-Benz 280E was sold new from Markley Imports in Greeley, Colorado, and was acquired by the seller on BaT in August 2021. The car is finished in Astral Silver Metallic over blue MB-Tex upholstery and is powered by a 2.8-liter inline-six mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. Equipment includes 14″ Bundt wheels, power-assisted four-wheel disc brakes, an electric sunroof, air conditioning, cruise control, power windows, and a Becker Europa cassette player. Service carried out during current ownership included an oil change and replacement of the muffler, fuel regulator, and a front window switch and regulator. This W123 is offered at no reserve with manufacturer’s literature, original sale documents, service records, a first aid kit, and a clean Massachusetts title in the seller’s name.

The car is finished in Astral Silver Metallic (735U) and features US-specification bumpers and lighting, a power-operated sunroof, a power-retractable antenna, and bright-finished window surrounds. The seller notes blemishes on the roof and passenger-side rear door.

Silver 14″ Bundt aluminum wheels are mounted with 195/70 Michelin Defender tires that show 2018 date codes. Stopping power is provided by power-assisted four-wheel discs.

Service carried out during current ownership is said to have included replacement of a front window switch and regulator.
