This 1991 Honda Civic DX hatchback is finished in gray over matching cloth and is powered by a 1.5-liter inline-four paired with a five-speed manual transaxle. The car has remained registered in Maryland since new and now shows 56k miles. Work under prior ownership included the installation of Neuspeed strut tower braces, a PRM Jet Stream air intake, HKS engine management components, and an APEXi muffler. Additional equipment includes 15” Fittipaldi Design wheels, fog lights, air conditioning, and an AM/FM/CD stereo. This Civic DX is offered by the selling dealer at no reserve with an owner’s manual, a clean Carfax report, and a clean Maryland title.
The body is finished in Pewter Gray Metallic (NH-537M) with black mirrors and side moldings. Features include pop-out side windows, a rooftop antenna, and a rear spoiler. The right fog light lens is broken, and there is condensation in the right-front turn signal. The selling dealer notes rust at the base of the left front fender, and dings in the right fender and spoiler are shown up close in the gallery.
Silver-finished 15” Fittipaldi Design wheels are mounted with 195/50 Hankook Ventus V2 tires. The car features front and rear Neuspeed strut tower braces as well as a rear subframe brace. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes up front along with drums out back, and the front brake rotors were replaced in February 2018.
The cabin is equipped with front bucket seats and a split-folding rear bench upholstered in gray cloth with contrasting inserts accompanied by matching door inserts, a two-tone dashboard, and black carpets. Amenities include an Alpine AM/FM/CD stereo, air conditioning, and a folding rear cargo area cover. The selling dealer notes that the seat belt light is illuminated.
An aftermarket three-spoke steering wheel frames a 125-mph speedometer and auxiliary gauges. An AutoMeter tachometer is mounted to the left side of the instrument binnacle. The six-digit odometer shows 56k miles, approximately 300 of which have been added under current ownership.
The 1.5-liter inline-four features dual-point fuel injection and has been fitted with a PRM Jet Stream air intake, an HKS Twin Power ignition system, and an HKS air-fuel ratio regulator. The oil pan gasket was replaced in February 2018.
Power is sent to the front wheels through a five-speed manual transaxle. The car features an APEXi muffler, and rust is visible on underbody components.
The Carfax report shows no accidents or other damage and lists history in Maryland. There is a gap in entries between November 1991 and December 2004.
