This 2006 Mercedes-Benz E55 AMG wagon is powered by a supercharged 5.4-liter M113 V8 paired with a five-speed automatic transmission and it is finished in Obsidian Black over black leather upholstery. Equipment includes AMG bodywork, 18″ AMG wheels, xenon headlights, fog lights, an adjustable Airmatic suspension, automatic climate control, cruise control, rear window shades, and COMAND infotainment with navigation. The car was first delivered to Mercedes-Benz of Boerne, Texas, and spent time in several states before the seller’s acquisition in September 2017. Subsequent service included replacing the tires, two air springs and shock absorbers, the supercharger bearing pulley, and the crankshaft position sensor. This AMG wagon has 129k miles and is offered in New Mexico with service records, a Carfax report, and a clean Tennessee title in the owner’s name.
The car is finished in Obsidian Black and features AMG-styled bumper covers and side skirts. Equipment includes xenon headlights, fog lights, roof rails, a rear window wiper, and quadruple exhaust outlets with polished finishers. A mesh lower front grill has been added. The Carfax report lists a damage report with “minor damage” to the left-rear corner and roof in October 2016 along with a July 2017 damage report with “minor damage” to the front of the vehicle. The seller states that the left-rear roof panel was repainted under previous ownership. Scratches are visible on the front and rear bumper covers, and the left mirror cover is broken.
Split-spoke 18″ AMG wheels are mounted with 245/40 front and 265/35 rear Continental ExtremeContact tires that were fitted in September 2021. Stopping power is provided by silver AMG-branded calipers over cross-drilled rotors at all four corners. Two air springs and shock absorbers were replaced in June 2021. Curb marks on the wheels can be seen in the gallery below.
The heated and ventilated dynamic front bucket seats, center bench, and rear-facing third-row are trimmed in black leather. Birdseye maple wood trim accents the dashboard, door panels, and center console. Equipment includes automatic climate control, cruise control, under-seat storage, rear window shades, and COMAND infotainment with navigation and a CD changer. The cargo area carpet is discolored and has been fitted with a cargo mat. The headliner was reportedly replaced during current ownership.
A leather-wrapped multifunction steering wheel frames a 200-mph speedometer, a tachometer, a clock, and auxiliary gauges. The digital odometer indicates 129k miles, approximately 11k of which were added during current ownership.
The 5.4-liter M113K V8 features a Lysholm-type IHI supercharger and was factory rated at 469 horsepower and 516 lb-ft of torque. The supercharger bearing pulley was replaced in February 2020 and the crankshaft position sensor is said to have been replaced in September 2021. The seller states that there is an oil smell and the valve cover gaskets are leaking. The engine cover emblem is missing.
Power is delivered to the rear wheels through a five-speed automatic transmission.
The Carfax report shows the aforementioned damage reports in October 2016 and July 2017 and lists history in Texas, South Carolina, Georgia, Tennessee, and New Mexico. A recall for the sliding roof is listed in a June 2020 entry.
